COLONIC HYDROTHERAPY /COLONIC IRRIGATION IN EXETER, DEVON

Set in the heart of Exeter, Devon, is a Colonic Hydrotherapy/Colonic Irrigation Clinic. Colonics Devon has been set up to deliver a colonic hydrotherapy/colonic irrigation service which gently cleanses the colon and restores health and wellbeing. Almost all chronic diseases stem from a sluggish digestive system because if the transit time of waste is delayed, the toxins within the waste will be absorbed into the blood stream overloading the liver, kidneys and the skin and this will, over time, lead to intoxication of the body's cells, leading to cell damage and disease. Colon cleansing ensures that this does not happen and has the effect of detoxifying the body as well as the colon cleansing, liver cleansing and kidney cleansing on offer. Colonics Devon in Exeter, is the place to go if you are in need of detoxification, or require colon cleansing or liver cleansing or are just feeling sluggish, bloated, depressed and in need of an energy boost.

ARTICLES

Regular articles on all sorts of matters and opinions will be written in this section and if anyone wants to e mail me their comments I will be pleased to receive them.

A SIMPLE GUIDE TO GOOD HEALTH
At the risk of oversimplification, it is not very hard to guide people to a healthier life, but it is very hard for the advice to be acted upon. This is because much of what is required is no more or no less than breaking habits.
If the average person eating an average diet, whatever that is, made a few changes to their daily diet, and kept to the regime, their health would almost inevitably improve. Sometimes, changes to lifestyle are also required, but these too are often almost impossible to achieve.

DIET
Macro nutrients are Carbohydrates, Proteins and Fats/Oils. Fibre is also very important.
Micronutrients are minerals and vitamins. There are other important things but we can leave them to one side for now.
Macro nutrients must be taken in a balanced way.
Roughly speaking our daily diet should consist of 50% carbohydrates. These are made up of starches which convert to sugars slowly and are better for us than sugar which takes almost no time to be digested. Starches are known as slow release carbohydrates and sugars are quick release.

Proteins should make up about 15% of our diet. They take a long time to digest and this is not so good as the passage of waste in our gut is slow allowing the waste to produce unpleasant toxins which can damage the gut and other organs, so a rapid transit time is better.

Fibre is a major aid to rapid transit time since the body does not digest fibre. It just helps other things to pass through us more rapidly and about 20% of our diet should be made up of fibre.

Fats and oils are also important but as most people already know, they have to be consumed in a balanced way and only 15% of our diet should fats and oils.

PROCESSED FOODS
The problem with these foods is that the processing denudes them of most of their goodness and other elements are often added which can be harmful.
Take bread for example. Natural wholemeal bread contains the germ and the outer shell or husk of the wheat grain as well as the gluten. It takes longer to digest, it does not rise into a fluffy piece of sparkling white bread, and it does not contain anything like the same quantitiy of salt. It is a very good source of nutrition. White processed bread on the other hand is denuded of the germ and the husk and so it has no fibre, and all the minerals and vitamins have been reduced except salt which has increased greatly. In addition, the bleach which is used to whiten the bread is not altogether eliminated. It is what I call an empty food.
Food in cans have been heated to such high temperatures that their micro nutrients have been diminished and salt is almost always added. The same applies to food in boxes, jars, and packages and includes milk.
The message is that if people did not eat any processed foods, they would feel much better.

LET'S KEEP IT SIMPLE
Things tend to get a little bit complicated so I will not get too techinical.
Instead here are some tips to better health via a sound diet.

Vegetables Eat as many vegetables as you like and better still eat them
raw whenever possible.

Fruit Eat at least 2 pieces each day, and never more than 3.

Milk Do not consume this at all if you can help it. If you have to
use goats milk or even soya.

Bread Do not consume much of this and if you have to use wholemeal or
rye or wheat free bread.

Meats Offal and especially liver is really good food. White meats are
not bad but contain no fibre. Red meats are not so wonderful
so go easy on these. Lots of fat here, and no fibre.

Fish Go for it. Two to Four times a week if you like. No fibre but
lots of micronutrients.

Cheese No

Eggs In moderation

Nuts Fine if you have no allergies.

Seeds Fine if you have no allergies

Processed food No, no no. This stuff is empty and useless in general so why
waste all your energy munching through stuff that takes up masses
of energy and rewards you with very little except
poor digestion.

Water Yes. About 3 pints a day and don't count the water in tea or
coffee unless you drink herbal teas.

Caffeine This should only be taken, if at all, in moderation and never
after 3 pm. . It accelerates the adrenal glands and the wearines
you will feel after the higher energy injection will get worse.

Lifestyle See if you can sleep for 7 hours a night. See if you can cut
work down to no more than 40 hours a week and see if you can find
at least one hour a day to do absolutely nothing at all except
let your mind drift - contemplation, as opposed to thinking.

Alcohol Make sure you control it, not the other way round. Give your
liver a fighting chance to look after you.

Exercise See if you can take some and if you do, make it worth it.
None of this 'I take the dog for a walk each day for half an
hour'. Exercise means puffing and sweating!

The rest, as they say, is simple!

PAIN CONTROL AND PAIN RELIEF
As most people know, chronic pain is as debilitating as anything known to man. And worse of all, no one really sympathises because they never see the pain.
In Italy, a company has been developing a range of wonderful new pain controlling and pain cures all of which have been researched.
These medicines are non toxic and have no side effects and are injectible or can be taken orally. They are made up from a wide range of homeopathic remedies, hormones, anti-inflammatories, natural pain reducing chemicals
and neuro-immune ingredients.
The cause of chronic pain is caused by the body's continuous battle to remove unwanted and dangerous toxins. It is the inflammatory action of the immune system that is making the pain so unbearable and so with these formulas, the inflammmatory activity is reduced, the body's own natural pain reducing hormones are added, the neural pathways are healed and the immune system is boosted.
In most cases ,more than one type of medicine is used, so that in the case of chronic back pain, something is given for the muscles and something is given for the nerves and something is given for the back of the legs.
One other ingredient that is always used is something to drain the matrix which is often contaminated with toxins and prevents the efficient transport of oxygen, nutrients, minerals, vitamins, hormones into the area affected, and also the transport of toxins from the area. It is these toxins and their removal that is of the greatest importance.
The products are made by GUNA - Physiological Regulating Medicine, and the corner stone of their work is known as P.N.E.I or Psycho-Neural-Endocrine-Immune axis.
The results of using these meidcines are really very good so that if you or someone you know has had chronic pain or is in pain, do let them know about this form of treatment. It really is far better, in my opinion, than any form of medication although in some cases stteroids are essential for those who are almost incapacitated.
Please call me if you would like more information on pain control or pain cure.
